Yeah that was the most interesting part for me. Something only MKBHD himself would probably notice. We need some mechanistic interpretability research to tell if it's using MKBHD as a reference when generating that plant.
I found the plant. It's from Ikea. Likely quite common and visible in more than just Marcus Brownlee's youtube uploads.
