It feels LLM generated, maybe it's just my imagination.
I also had that impression.
The headline worked for me, and then it sort of teased me along with details that ultimately ended without a conclusion and a feeling of "why did I just read this?"
I got that vibe as well.
Agreed. It could be some mix too (e.g. heavy LLM “assistance”). It’s sad that these days everything is suspect.
Not LLM assisted at all. This book and Kandel has a lot of meaning for me - sorry I'm working to move away from stale academic writing.
Yes, very sad. Now I will be much more careful with students writing assessments. Thanks for the feedback.
I think so too
There's some parts that are definitely LLM assisted
Ugh, I try to unearth students use of LLM, not good to be accused of it. Now I will be more careful with students
Sorry to note that - but I definitely wrote it myself. This is part of a series I am writing - I am trying to move from too much stale academic writing to more general writing, not easy after all these years.
Must be a biography of the founder of G.Skill or Crucial.
