Would love to hear about people’s experiences / war stories with Meilisearch vs alternatives. Often been tempted to have a play with it but Elastic kind of feels like the IBM of search.

We absolutely love Meilesearch. We run it on our own servers and air has been rock solid and the search results are better than anything comparable.

One thing I can say for sure. If you're Looking for an Algolia-like dev experience, Meilisearch is much easier to use than Elastic.
