Regardless about the political discussion surrounding a billionaire owning a social media site, this has got to be the worst rebrand decision I've ever witnessed. I don't pretend to understand branding, but X has simply never clicked as an app or product name with me. Twitter had amazing, distinctive branding. I will probably always think of it as Twitter.
Twitter also knew the value of letting a non-user view content, the day X started that I never went back. Reddit also understands this, and while they might bother you every chance to log in, it's not required.
