Hacker News Reader

This is off-topic, but I can't find info on this from searches, or reddit. I'm new to this class of web app, so may have incorrect expectations.

On BlueSky, how do you view your subscribed feed? My visible options are A: Discover posts I'm not subscribed to. B: View posts I'm subscribed to, one category at a time.

I've clicked all over, but can't find it. Thanks!

> Scientists and science writers are now being encouraged to migrate to BlueSky.

> Similarly, the European Union of Journalists “has decided to stop publishing content on Elon Musk’s social media platform, X, from January 20, 2025, when Donald J. Trump will officially become the 47th president of the United States.”

Good! All good people should stop using X.

Odd "news" site too. It mostly seems like a blog for the author's opinions and intelligent design for some reason.

So... Good?

article title sounds like a jab at bluesky hehe. i don't think the world where twitter of old thrived exists anymore. people will no longer tolerate that kind of censorship and government meddling.

The idea that the government is "meddling" is naive and absurd. Government is why you have the ability to post that comment.

Yeau article was unexpectedly hostile to bsky. Was weird to see.
