Ask HN: How "passive" is your passive income from tech?

I see a lot of discussions about building passive revenue streams in tech (SaaS, digital products, courses, APIs, etc). But how passive are these income sources really?

For those who've succeeded: What's working for you? What failed? What's your actual monthly maintenance time? How much time do you spend maintaining your "passive" income sources?
