Try to find an external monitor with the same high quality inbuilt webcam, microphone, speakers and USB hub. I'm waiting...

The iMac webcam has always been quite meh. So is the microphone. Speakers are good for inbuilt speakers which is to say they are average.

But show me an external monitor which has all this inbuilt. Even if it just has average quality. There is nothing on the market. Once there existed a Dell video conferencing monitor. But the quality of webcam, microphone speakers and even USB hub of this monitor was just terrible, much worse than Apple. It seems like everyone likes a lot of cables around her/his monitor and a shaky webcam on top.

I quite like having proper sound and a good webcam which sometimes is my phone connected to my computer, yes. Cables are not an issue because I can properly run them being the huge monitor in front of me. Plus I can undock my laptop from the setup when I’m done and you know, carry it with me somewhere else.

I can’t believe some people are arguing in good faith here than the iMac is an improvement on this. I find it funny because I thought Apple fanboys somehow died but apparently no.

I would be happy to buy an external monitor not from Apple with a good webcam, microphone, speakers and USB-Hub inbuilt.

Unfortunately they don't exist.
