What is this article? Substack and "today's highlights" have nothing to do with the article and are generic news spam, followed by unsourced claims?
A bit unclear - the article has a msft quote claiming misconfiguration. Is this that affected companies already granted too much access over SharePoint or SMB to confidential documents? Or is it more subtle than that?
I think they had been relying on lazy security by obscurity and it pretty much worked... until copilot
