No taking a passing interest in news.
No X, no Facebook (I gave these up already actually).
I’m going cold turkey.
It’s all so depressing, such bad news, it was deeply impacting my state of mind.
I already feel happier.
That said, I still use Twitter and often find out about news events that way. But I’m very hygienic about who I follow, mute a few necessary words, and I never turn on the algorithm feed.
