OG = OpenGraph (like ‘og:image’)

This is ripped off of https://imgsrc.io/

Thanks for bringing up imgsrc.io!

While there are similarities since we're both OG image generators, gleam.so focuses specifically on making it super easy for non-designers to create beautiful Open Graph images through templates. I have different goals and target users.

Always happy to learn about other tools in the space!

Always cool to see new competitors pop up in a space! I was only commenting on the fact that the website, editor, templates, components, layout, etc. was nearly identical to imgsrc.io. Great work, but I just think you should differentiate yourself a bit.

Really appreciate the thoughtful feedback! You make a fair point about the similarities.

I'll work on making the UI more unique and differentiated in the next iterations. Thanks for helping make the product better!

What's an "OG image"?

Preview images that shows up when you share a link on various platforms.

Thank you! If someone else came here curious about this name, it stands for "opengraph image": https://ogimage.org/faq
