Camdom: German company launches first 'digital condom'. How's it work?

"How the ‘digital condom’ works Camdom works like a “digital condom” for your smartphone, ensuring that private moments stay private. Using the app is simple and intuitive. Before getting intimate, both partners place their phones close to each other and swipe down within the app. This action locks the phones’ cameras and microphones via Bluetooth, disabling any ability to record audio or video.

In case someone tries to unlock or interfere with the app mid-moment, an alarm goes off, alerting both partners to the attempt and preventing sneaky recordings. The goal is to make the app as easy to use as a regular condom, but with a digital twist — shielding privacy from prying eyes."
