They did launch a TV app, although I haven't found much discussion about what kind of content you can even access on it. The biggest creator on the platform of which I'm aware is Tucker Carlson, but I'm not sure if they have any other big names regularly posting content. Maybe their long-term plans will include funding the creation of new media.
Overall, Elon has made a lot of claims around increasing transparency but I haven't seen that play out on his platform. He did an initial recommendation algorithm release and never updated it again. It's still possible for your account to get suppressed, shadow banned, or for it to receive limited reach without having this communicated to the account owner or other users. He made a few big platform decisions like reinstating Trump's account using public votes, but then dropped that decision-making approach entirely. Maybe he just wanted to avoid accountability for being the one to reinstate Trump at the time? They're also not allowing third-party independent studies to be run on the platform to analyze what kind of content is being posted and amplified. They've also continued the legacy of censoring certain kinds of content: one example I saw a few months back was that you wouldn't find any results when you searched the name of a shooter. I'm not even opposed to having this kind of filtering take place, as long as it's communicated in some kind of transparency report. But right now despite it being a so-called free speech platform, it continues to operate very opaquely and without any kind of good faith accountability.
