Making Pop Rocks from scratch (is complicated) [video]

There’s no way that video wouldn’t pop off

Early on there was a lot more salvaging and makeshift components, and "I know someone who knows someone". Nowadays, though, I think the channel gets more than enough support that the answer is "I spent $12k and bought it".

Usually Alibaba or Aliexpress (he does state that, sometimes with a screenshot as well).

For the not-so-special stuff he usually doesn't hide the labels or where the stuff (like chemicals) comes from.

It's the reactor from htlab but it might be a re-brand [0][1]

Alibaba.com seems the place to be, although I keep seeing the same product (literally same picture) but under different brands so who know who actually makes this [2]

This video says Alibaba.

NileRed - NileBlue is his second channel.

He addressed the "dad paid for everything" rumors in a recent video.

From memory he just worked for it, bought secondhand and then made a lot of money through YouTube.

Claire Saffitz's is probably my favorite channel for all things baking, such high quality productions with a care for detail, thanks for sharing that!
