I think the intention of the Click-to-Cancel is in the right place, but I just imagine the actual implementations will be on par with the AdChoices[1] opt-out of affiliate advertising thing where they present this feature that is literally the buggiest software ever made and guaranteed to fail and put you back in the old robo-call hell.

This headline is inherently inflammatory (flagged for that reason); the court has not even heard the case yet; and lastly, there are no shortage of good reasons why a court rejecting a new policy should not be interpreted as opposition to the policy.

(My favorite example: If a child is kidnapped, and we know with 100% certainty that child is in a certain neighborhood, who cares about breaking down 100 doors? Are you siding with the kidnappers? Doors can be replaced but children can't, you know!)

They haven't tried it yet. I get the the 5th Circuit is bad, but this headline is worse.

This is like not wanting to shop at Target or someplace, and they won't let you out of the store.
