When I want to know whether something is pre installed on gh actions, I go to
https://github.com/actions/runner-images , click through to the image we use, and Ctrl+F for the software I’m interested in. If it’s installed, it will tell me which version is installed.
If you’re getting your runner from someone other than gh, you’ll have to check with them instead.
