Journey to the End of time is good as a big picture thing, but I think the same artist (melodysheep) made something even better, in terms of helping us navigate life day to day: The WTF Singalong. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2MN1vXO5JeI

It applies so well to so many facets of daily life.

For everyone else, thanks for sharing! Normally i think sharing videos is bad mojo--the Internet is so personalized that favorites are difficult to share. But I really enjoyed most of what has been shared so far!

RedLetterMedia Phantom Menace review. A remarkably unique mix of comedy and genuine insight.

I feel like the Star Wars prequels were largely ignored culturally for years, but after the Plinkett review they keep coming up. There are even weirdos who insist they're good now.

Compared to the sequels?

I don't know about favorite ever, but I've discovered Harry Mack freestyling about a year ago and have spent dozens of hours catching up on the entire backlog, this man is a genius (and this is not a music style I even care for) . This particular video is my favorite of his due to the infectious beat and sheer positivity: https://youtu.be/dxYah-Tlkmc. Everything he does is an instant classic though.

Scenic train ride from Bergen to Oslo (Norway) - 7 hours and 14 minutes of beautiful Fjords and trees along side the rails. As near as I can tell, this is the original from 2014 that kicked off the slow video movement.

The tunnels they've constructed are impressive.

I've often wondered how good the 3d model you could build from the original 250 gigabyte file would be.

Interesting, I'm travelling to Bergen in a couple of days to meet a friend. Previously I have taken a train from Oslo to Trondheim. If the weather is nice it's very beautiful!

Oh, thanks, I lost it long ago!

The Norwegian national broadcaster, NRK, that created the Bergensbanen minute for minute video also hosts two torrents for that video btw. Yes, that’s right officially hosted torrent files from a national broadcaster :D

https://nrkbeta.no/bittorrent/

Their first torrent is for a 720p version, 50 fps, h.264 encoded mp4. https://nrkbeta.no/torrent/Bergensbanen-minutt.for.minutt.12...

Their second torrent is 1080i and uses ProRes 422 codec. It comes to a whopping 246 GB total! :O https://nrkbeta.no/torrent/Bergensbanen.1080i50.ProRes422.Nr...

Last 5 minutes are pure gold for how to manage meetings.

There's a 'remake' of this, again by John Cleese, but I find this original to be far better.
