Elon Musk's Big Business and Conflicts of Interest with the U.S. Government

Are we supposed to believe that every other person in government isn't making obscene amounts of money on conflicts of interest?

Is it that you (I presume) believe since this is common, Elon should then get a free pass? If everyone is doing something unethical, does that make it ethical or at least ethical to ignore?

I agree with your sentiment (I think) but Musk is not in government. He is one of the ones paying out for favors.
