did they set a price yet? I love my kindle paperwhite, but color would be awesome. been waiting for that for like 15 years.

It seems to be $279.99 for a "Signature Edition" and a release on October, 30. (no confirmation from Amazon yet)

The Kobo Libra Colour and the Pocketbook Verse Pro Color are cheaper if this price is confirmed.

how is it only $279? I think I paid like $599 for the kindle white.

It is $279 USD. The Kindle Paperwhite is $179 or $199 USD (out of stock right now)

hmmm....pretty sure i paid at least double that 2 years ago.
