I feel this would be a non-issue if we all had a healthier relationship with nudity and sexuality...

What I had in mind is that there are parts of the world where bathing nude at the lake/beach is seen as more normal, and parts of the world where it sounds crazy. In the parts where it is normal, I guess there would be less inclined to used deepfakes for this, so the usage would be lower/fringe and it would not be a problem asking for our attention to solve it.

people visiting a nude beach are voluntarily nude. people have a right to not to have their body exposed without their consent.

Fair point. Although it is not their body being exposed, it is a very realistic Photoshop.

So there is not possible solution that would not imply violating privacy, but it is a problem. So it is useful to look at the root causes of the problem. What I was saying is that the problem comes from how we approach nudity and sexuality as a society.

Creating an image, video, or some other piece of content which convincingly and falsely represents another person, without that person's consent, is definitely crossing some lines. Doubly so if it's sexualized. Yep, it's not technically their body. If nobody can tell the difference, I don't think that's actually relevant though.

Yes, I agree, it can be a very bad experience for the victim, and it is definitely the case for teens where it can be combined with some sort of bullying.
