The plan outlined Monday would provide 1 million fully forgivable loans of up to $20,000 to Black entrepreneurs and others to start a business. The loans would be financed through partnerships between “mission-driven lenders,” community oriented banks and the Small Business Administration, the campaign said.

The agenda also includes training and mentorship programs to help Black men get jobs in high-demand industries, and greater investments in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program to recruit and retain Black male teachers.

isn't this a textbook definition of racism and inequality?

Why do you give forgivable loan based on the color of skin?

This is why I think it’s better to focus on targeting low income and individuals and families in poverty.

Helping the poor will inevitably help those who are most disenfranchised.

I am not a lawyer, but I'm pretty certain that a plan like this is blatantly unconstitutional. Harris knows this too, and knows it will never happen, but it may buy a few votes in the meantime.

To be sure, I'll vote for her anyway, because it's not as batshit crazy (or dangerous) as many of her opponent's plans.
