All VW that to do was to keep the style, but they had to go for the cyberpunk-ish thing because "electric".

Kills the vibe.

They could even have just modernized the style. That thing is… I mean, not accounting for taste, but IMO it is noticeably ugly. The microbus is sort of charmingly not-cool looking.

They needed to give it cheerful round headlights and not the angry cyberpunk unibrow.

Beautiful.

I think anyone who doesn’t want one in the abstract is nuts. If I had $250k just laying around, haha.
