Eric Schmidt: Build more AI datacenters, we won't 'hit climate goals anyway'

Another money-driven ignorant comment.

Unless we radically change what "ai" is (right now, it's just a prediction engine based on our own published knowledge, so at best, it can only come up with average results), "ai" won't save us from anything.

And yes, I put "ai" in quotes because the 'a' part is correct, but the 'i' leaves much to be desired.

With the current AI electricity consumption, I'm not so sure about that. I hope to be proven wrong, though.

Turns out the climate goals were another scheme run by a select few to superimpose a certain set of "values" on humanity. Bill Gates can excuse AI for it of course because they own the agenda.

like the few people we have in the fields are enough to ask all the questions and do all the handywork.
