Zline: A New Take on Virtual Real Estate

I recently came across a platform called Zline, which offers a new spin on the concept of virtual real estate. The idea is simple: you can claim plots of digital land (similar to the early days of the web) and customize them with your logo and a URL.

What makes Zline interesting is that for now, they're offering plots for free, and they have a system for premium plots that are reserved (with a "contact to buy" model). The platform allows users to customize their space and make it their own, with some plots designated as more "exclusive" than others. It’s like a blend of web hosting, branding, and digital ownership.

The concept feels like a callback to things like the Million Dollar Homepage but with a modern twist and potential use cases in marketing, branding, or even personal projects. I’ve grabbed a few plots out of curiosity to see how it evolves.

Has anyone else looked into this? Would be curious to hear thoughts on whether virtual real estate still has potential in today’s digital world or if it’s just nostalgia-driven.
