I didn't know what keywords to use to search for a product, so I asked ChatGPT. The system gave me two answers to choose between and the first was something that I can only call an infomercial. It was headed by a link to a specific item sold on Amazon and the answer neatly segued into a recommendation for that product, with no delineation between where the answer ended and the advertisement began. In total, the response contained links to three different products, two to Amazon pages, one to Etsy.

2. I think infomercial is the appropriate term, as infomercials are designed look like regular programming and seem informative, but are actually primarily intended to promote a product or service.
