If you consider Tor to be unsafe, then it would make sense that you would think Tails would also be unsafe.

Is your evidence that Tor is insecure anecdotal, or have you found something?

Because the Tor project is the only anonymity network with enough cover traffic and nodes to actually provide a reasonable amount of privacy to users. Yes, there are attacks that are possible but they are typically costly (at least ones that aren't targeted at hidden services) and are mitigated using recent inventions like Vanguards.

Centralization bad because Tor kicked out an abuser, so therefore subverted by the NSA, makes a lot of sense.
