I was very pleased to demo PyAirbyte and my AI Chatbot self-contained in a Jupyter Notebook, along with our new support for the PGVector destination.

My colab notebook is here if you want to kick the tires: https://colab.research.google.com/github/airbytehq/quickstar...

Let me know if you have any questions about our AI connectors or PyAirbyte!

I loved the "How cool is AJ?" part of the demo ;) !

We've been working on this for a long time - Reliability, new connectors, error handling and more! Check out the technical release notes to learn more: https://github.com/airbytehq/airbyte/releases/tag/v1.0.0

Yeah, lots of blood sweat and tears here!

Ah ah indeed!

Super excited to see Airbyte finally make 1.0. Tons of great features in the release that represents a lot of hard work from the Airbyte team over a number of years.

Congratulations Airbyte!

4 years!! And it's just the beginning! Thanks for the support!

Really excited about the Gen AI and AI Assist features!

It's only available in Cloud, but we'll make it available in OSS, there is some extra work to make it happen.

It's so nice to see Airbyte graduating to 1.0

It's been a long journey, but at the same time, still is the beginning.

Excited to use Airbyte builder with AI Assist!

So exciting to see how far Airbyte has come!

That's great, what a milestone!

Thanks!!

I am excited to try out AI Assist!

Let us know how it works on your end!

Super excited about this!

We are too! Thanks!

Congrats! Super exciting

Awesome! Congrats team!

Thank you!

Nice work, team!

Thanks!

AMA: I was on the team that built the AI Assist functionality. Happy to chat about it. I became obsessed with documentation sites for a while there.

Love all the improvements, but most excited for the AI assist. I see it's in beta right now -- what's on the roadmap to get it to 1.0.0?

We have to work on the scaling. There is lots of web scraping and LLM calls that we need to make sure works under load. I'm sure there will be quality improvements as well.
