California Drivers May Soon Get Speed-Warning Devices

> Those championing the technology argue that it could save lives—consider that in 2022, 18 percent of the passenger-vehicle drivers, or 8236 people, involved in fatal crashes in the U.S. were speeding, according to NHTSA.

Considering that more than 18% of CA drivers are speeding, I guess it follows that speeding saves lives - perhaps by narrowly evading the accident?

Maybe there should be an audible warning if you're driving over 85, as in years old.
