Ask HN: Why Is Hetzner's Identity Verification So Complicated?

I decided to switch from DigitalOcean to Hetzner to save some cash.

I thought it’d be straightforward, but I'm now stuck in an endless loop of identity verification.

Two failed attempts later, I’ve had to email support and wait. This process is starting to feel unnecessarily complicated.

Has anyone else faced similar issues with Hetzner?

Is this standard for new users, or am I missing something?
