I won't buy an Intel Lunar Lake-powered laptop

I did not expect this take on HN. Some folks want a portable but powerful machine that can run e.g. multiple VMs, Docker, Kubernetes or perhaps large local AI models. All of these things need plenty of RAM.

And please don't respond with "get a desktop or power laptop (aka boat-anchor/toaster).

The 32GB cap is not a fundamental limit AFAIK. It's a marketing/cost decision based on not having to support too many product variants while still targeting the biggest customer segments.
