Maybe people wouldn't do this if applications didn't go into a black hole to either never get responses or get responses months later. Out of all my job searches I've only ever gotten one interview by applying with a company instead of working with a recruiter. If you only interview candidates from recruiters why bother posting the job on sites like Linkedin?
