Manage your spending without pulling your hair out. Yes, it's possible.
- Aggregate your personal and shared budgets in a single click, because juggling several apps is so 2010. - Automate your recurring expenses to avoid surprises at the end of the month. Because forgetting Netflix is a classic. - Share expenses without provoking a world war between friends. Yes, you can define who pays what, without the hassle. - Calculate your debts without using an Excel spreadsheet. I promise, you don't need to become an accountant for that. - And last but not least, analyse your finances using clear, fun graphs, because we know you love pretty curves... especially the ones that show how much you're saving.
In short, Boney is the budget app you've been waiting for, but can't live without. Because managing your money has never been easier, even for those who prefer to procrastinate.
Some very first thoughts on the landing page from someone who probably is in the target audience as I’ve used quite a few similar apps so far. (I did not get to actually try the service due to the lack of integration with bank data)
There is little of substance on the landing page. As a user who is interested in using this, I’d want to learn what features the app has, what is different and better than the competitors, and at the very least see what the app looks like.
Video guide of the features would also be very interesting.
You mention it doesn’t integrate with banks. That is unfortunate. Any thoughts or supporting csv imports or an api to allow users to diy?
Good luck and I’ll keep an eye out :)
The application is in its early stages, with a number of features that I personally needed, and feedback like yours can help me to develop it in line with my needs.
As for the connection to the banks, some people are totally against it (for fear of being hacked, even though there's no risk) and other people like you want it by default. I opted for simplicity, to keep with my approach of a simple, lightweight app. But the in-between with a csv data import page is conceivable. I'd be interested to know more about your needs in this area, so don't hesitate to contact me to give me more context.
Finally, you've identified the shortcomings of my landing page, which needs to be reworked over the next few days/weeks.
So don't hesitate to have another look at it soon and let yourself be tempted ;)
