Today, I received a reply from the GitHub support team. However, the email did not provide any details or reasons. What should I do next?

Maybe too late for this now if they've taken your repos offline and not just your login, but a tool like myrepos[0] can be set up with a cronjob to make sure you keep a local backup of your repositories up to date.

This happened to me on LinkedIn about a week ago, and I have been back-and-forthing with support on a new account I created, which also got locked out.

I have decided to cancel all my accounts. I want the entire internet to be nuked at this point.

Join the fight for privacy, self-reliance, self-hosting, ditch the corporate overlords and find peace and serenity in the way things should be, the way they were before we got attention-sucked, sold out, and told this is what we need to build portfolios and resumes. As far as I'm concerned we can still git clone repos without an account.

They just banned a firefox addon for using archive websites to show paywalled content for a bogus ass DMCA notice/claim. Take that for how it is.
