Ask HN: Website visitor data on Similarweb for entire Aug
I'm seeking insights from those who have used Similarweb for website traffic analysis. I recently launched two websites and noticed inconsistencies in the visitor data provided by Similarweb.
For the first website, which I launched in mid-July:
Similarweb showed 5 visitors from July 25th to July 30th
However, it has shown 0 visitors for the entire month of August so far
There are a small visitors amount from Google Analytics
In contrast, for my second website, which I launched on August 15th:
Similarweb has been updating the visitor data every 3 days
I'm curious if anyone else has encountered similar issues with Similarweb's data accuracy or consistency. If so, how did you address the problem? Are there any known solutions or workarounds?
Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
