China's invasion of Taiwan could be thwarted by a lead chipmaker's "kill switch"

At this point in history, killing off Taiwanese chip companies would be a bigger disaster for the West than for China. China has lots of chipmakers (and producing even more in the future), the West not so much.

TSMC makes something like 60% of the Wests's chips IIRC.
