FusionAuth 1.52.0 – Passkeys for Everyone

On the hosted section, for $37/mo, you don't even get things like backups.
If you dare venture into their "you host" pricing, it requires trying to figure out the difference between "core features" and "premium features". Figuring that out requires scrolling down the page and opening up a couple accordions that are ordered wrong (premium comes before core) and not even close to each other.
If your pricing is this convoluted, I promise you that you are losing potential users.
The $37/month plan is designed for folks to do a POC or check the software out; it isn't designed for production workloads (hence the lack of backups).
We do have a free community edition here if you want to self-host:

The features listed on the below page are limited to paid plans but everything else is unlimited (or, more precisely, limited by the system resources):

I then click "Select" on $500 and it takes me to another page that is even more confusing. It lists a whole bunch more prices, no $500 price anymore and I have to go through the whole comparison again.

None of this makes any sense. I'd go back to the drawing board. It is pretty astounding that this feedback hasn't been conveyed or managed before. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into what is presented and it really sets the tone for what working with your business would be like.
> What you are telling me now is that to go from "testing" to "production", it is $37->$500
Yup, if you want us to run it, that's the pricing. Auth is pretty important and building a scalable single-tenant (no commingling of data or compute) solution that is performant and run well is not cheap.
But I get that it isn't for everyone. When I was working on a startup, all of our hosting bill was less than $500.
You can host it elsewhere for cheaper: https://fusionauth.io/blog/fusionauth-on-fly-io

We've heard it before but have had other priorities.
> Clearly a lot of effort has gone into what is presented and it really sets the tone for what working with your business would be like.
Yeah, we need to make it simpler.
We do have a bifurcated path for usage. Some folks go directly to the download page and run it themselves. If the features meet their needs, they self-host or they struggle through the buying page if they don't want to.
Other folks mash the 'contact us' button and engage with our technical sales team, which, we hear consistently, is a better experience than competitors. Yes, I know that not everyone wants to talk to sales. I personally never do. But some folks prefer that path.
Overall your point is well-made. The page is more confusing than it needs to be and doesn't help someone new to the app get what they need to make a decision.
Edit: responded to pricing feedback.
