I wouldn't say it's "decrepit", but maybe I'm just lucky.I've noticed my device, an iPhone 13 Pro Max, will stay on LTE until I start downloading or streaming something. Then it will switch to 5g ultra wideband.
Though, I have noticed, that sometimes I'll be on LTE until I start streaming/downloading something. I figured it was a battery saving measure.
Apparently that is no longer available and the reviews for the replacement, the LB1200 are insanely bad, sadly.
I'm disappointed, but not especially surprised.
