Show HN: Noobies, a P2P Way of Travel

Backpacking friends and I have been putting a lot of love and weekends into our hobby project: noobies (previously cotravel.es)

WHAT is noobies?

We help expats and travelers find unique, non-touristy things to do, and meet with locals and other expats while traveling with the click of a button.

HOW is this different?

The main problem is that known websites such as Trip Advisor, will get you to the tourist hotspots -- while others like Meetup are now over-run by professional and sponsored events. That's not what most backpackers want. They want to immerse themselves in the culture of the country.

WHEN will this be out?

It already is! We have a working MVP with 50 closed-beta users. Our goal is to build a network of solo-travellers, first in Spain, and later on other countries.
