Ask HN: How is the daily work of an AI Engineer like, and how to become one?

This feels like one of those questions where the answer is obvious. You tell us. It seems like people are just jumping on the bandwagon without even realizing it’s a bandwagon, let alone understanding what it looks like or how it operates.

I wish someone from the bandwagon could answer.

It is just software. You use APIs, write prompts, review results, curse LLMs and try again with CAPS LOCK and !!!

and that your grandmother really needs it, or she may die.
