Show HN: Ella AI Companion – Now with a Paid Version for Sustained Support
ella.quicklabs.app
About a month ago, we introduced Ella, an AI companion for personal/emotional support. Today, we're launching a paid version to ensure Ella's sustainability and continued improvement.
What's new: - Credit-based system: 100 messages for $20 - Each interaction uses one credit - First 3 messages remain free, 5 more if you take a survey
Why we made this change: - To maintain high-quality support - Invest in improving Ella's capabilities - Ensure long-term sustainability of the service
We've learned a lot since our initial launch, including: 1. Demand for AI Companions is increasing 2. Personalization and Memory are crucial for personal companions
To address these learnings, we're enhancing Ella's memory capabilities and working on more personalized interaction models.
We're committed to responsible AI development and ethical pricing. Our goal is to make emotional support accessible while sustaining our service.
