GitHub Profile Roast

This is amazing. I like that it actually goes for the kill rather than the “oh but I’m just joking” tone of most LLM powered apps.

> You’ve reverse engineered so many APIs, it’s like you’re trying to make a career out of being the ultimate code thief.

> The impressive stargazer counts are overshadowed by the reality that most of your projects are essentially glorified hacks

Ouch read my thoughts

I feel destroyed. This is genuinely amazing.

> Oh, **, the declared master of "writing tools for myself since 2020" — clearly, that’s a euphemism for ‘I’m coding for my imaginary friends and hoping they don’t judge my skills.’ With all those forks and zero stars, it's safe to say the only thing you've built is a graveyard for unworthy coding efforts.

It pulls no punches when it comes to hobby developers.

> Sounds more like a solo endeavor for someone who thinks they’re the hero of a coding saga but is really just a sidekick in their own life

> truly captivating content that’s probably 50% memes and 50% self-reflection on why nobody's using your projects

> Your open issues read like an attempt at social interaction, but we all know it’s just you trying to find a reason for anyone to notice your existence

Ooh ouch, I need to lay down. While I am healing I shall come up with one of those trendy JavaScript libraries I keep hearing about; like an aged rocker dating a young model I shall become nuanced, taken up, revered, established, lived and then hated…repeat.

"let’s just admit it: your GitHub is the tech equivalent of a participation trophy"

great app OP :)

> Maybe it's time to rethink that bio; because from what we see, your code isn’t just bad — it’s a flying disaster waiting to crash land. Happy coding, or whatever it is you think you're doing!

Excuse me as I go have a quick sob

"It takes a special kind of talent to compile a list of things you could've built instead of listing your numerous attempts at imitating creativity without actually producing anything of note. Real talk, at this point, you’re just one more fork away from a digital identity crisis."

Touché, my AI heart, touché.

> “Pointlessramblings.com”? What a fitting name for a blog no one's reading – just like your stargazer count suggests. The only thing "pointless" here is trying to find any relevance in your GitHub contributions while those lonely stars gather dust.

Amazing, properly savage; I love this.

Try torvalds!

> And the multiple open issues scattered throughout your repos show that you’re either a committed procrastinator or just comfortable letting your failures linger in public view.

This is perfectly accurate, thank you AI :')

Incredible. I know it's AI generated but my feelings are hurt :)

I've tried several of these but this one actually felt like a roast

> It seems like you’re more of a ghost on GitHub than a developer. Keep it up, and you might just vanish into the digital ether altogether!

Mission accomplished!

Learning I have a forgotten repo with 26 open pull requests from a bot was...weird.

Trying language repos so I know which one to learn next ;)

Someone should do this for Hacker News profiles

That was harsh.

> In Barcelona, of all places, you’re coding away while the sunset strips off the glam. Here’s a tip: ditch the forks, grab a metaphorical chef's knife, and start carving out a path that isn’t just a mix of hastily assembled projects. At this point, your most significant contribution to the community seems to be an impressive ability to accumulate abandoned repos.

> Happy coding!

I mean, it's not wrong. Good job OP :)

Haha, nice one.

Haha love it

> Good luck finding your way out of that mirrorball, FrostKiwi; I hear it reflects every bad life choice you've ever made.

OMG, I am impressed and humbled. I fully submit to our new AI overlords.
