Show HN: Created an App for People Who Hate Planning Vacations
trameter.com
I and my team have been hard at work for the past 4 years on our passion project, Trameter, and we're thrilled to share our second public release with you. Just 2 days ago, we launched Trameter on the App Store in the US, and we'd love to get your feedback.
What Trameter Does
Imagine planning a whole vacation in just a few seconds. That’s Trameter! It’s a mobile app that takes the stress out of travel planning. You simply tell it where you want to go, when you want to go, and how much you want to spend. In return, it gives you 9 personalized vacation options – a mix of flights and hotels – all ready to book in seconds.
The Problem We're Solving
Planning a trip can be a nightmare. Endless tabs, hours of comparing prices, and still feeling unsure about your choices. Most people end up with generic packages or spend way too much time and effort on DIY planning.
How Trameter Flips the Script
Trameter cuts through the noise and saves you from spending 15+ hours on 38+ websites. You get personalized options in seconds.
Here’s how it works:
1. Enter your Preferences: Where do you want to go? When? What’s your budget?
2. Relax and Let Trameter Do the Work: No more endless searches! Our smart algorithm finds the perfect flights and hotels for you.
3. Explore 9 Personalized Vacation Packages: In seconds, you'll get 9 curated options – 3 within your budget, 3 below, and 3 above.
4. Book in 1 Click Within the App: Finalize your travel plans with one click, without leaving the app or being redirected elsewhere.
Our Journey
We’re a small team of passionate travelers, frustrated with the planning process ourselves, who’ve poured our hearts into this app. We’re committed to making travel planning easy and enjoyable.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on:
- Potential use cases we might not have considered
- Suggestions for improving the app
- Ideas for marketing strategies
- Any potential pitfalls to look out for as we scale
Try the app out and let me know what you think! I'm here for all your feedback and questions.
