Ask HN: what's the best macbook screen/keyboard protector?

I have a gouge in the screen of my white macbook screen, just above center left. It was from a single grain of sand sandwiched between the screen and the edge of the trackpad. I just dropped serious bank on a Retina macbook so I'd like to protect the screen. I have checked Amazon and Google and I am left feeling I would really appreciate your input: what do you use?
