Edit: Sorry I see, I missed the word "highlighted". Looks like it's only an issue in dark mode. You can toggle the theme at the bottom of the page.
No I can't, the buttons don't do shit.
It does change the data-site-theme attribute in the <html> tag, but that doesn't seem to affect the page in the least. Something is overriding it. The <code> blocks where the issue happens don't change with the style.
I don't know how this is called in english, and the Firefox-documentation sucks so hard that there is no way to get to the english version from my language.

Edit: I may be confusing two issues because the OP said "the highlighted text" which, without further context, I assumed to mean "selected text".
