Trump allies want to "Make America First in AI" with sweeping executive order

I wonder if this will change Elon’s endorsement. He has long seemed pro-AI regulation. He said he went to Washington to try and fight for it and no one listened.

I'm sorry, but it's 2024 and you still believe what Elon says ?

The PR stunt with pro-AI regulation was just to look good and allow him some time to setup his XAi company, nothing more.

As for endorsement, Trump / Vance are pretty much as anti-EV as it gets. Doesn't seem to bother Elon neither.

This tidbit pretty much reads like Elon himself wrote it in a pitch for xAI, so I'd say Elon would 100% on board here.
