We are excited to announce Boards. Boards are flexible tables that help you structure and make sense of data that lives in PDFs, pictures and more.

Many business users spend time extracting key information from files like invoices, contracts and other documents. Boards eliminate the need for this by focussing on 3 things: 1. Flexibility: boards can be easily tailored to suit your business. Start from a template or create a board from scratch. 2. Automating data entry: to import information into your board, simply upload files or email your board. 3. Simplifying change: when a business process changes, we make it super easy to add columns to your board and backfill them.

We believe software of the future is truly custom and boards are built with this principle in mind. Some of the things you can use boards for: - Tracking supplier payments - Customer orders - Managing contracts and agreements

Looking at the pricing, a "credit" is dependent on the size and complexity of the content, but you haven't provided me with any idea what size or complexity mean, so it's a complete black box.

Great feedback, we will make this more clear

if anyone looking to solve this with open-source, try Unstract - https://github.com/Zipstack/unstract

ok

Is this really open-source? The main sauce in this seems to be the text extractor "Unstract LLMWhisperer" that gets very expensive very fast if you're using it a lot.

If I understand correctly this tool focuses on ability to create easily extractors from documents. I'm wondering who is your target audience? If it's a company operations (accounting, procurement, etc),you missed it, they want to setup once then use it and access documents. If it's for developers to quickly build extractors for different company ops, then I'm missing API, scoring, integrations.

We're focussed on company operations (accounting, procurement etc).

The tool is totally self serve and does allow you to set up, upload and access documents.

We clearly need to call that out more so will add this to the landing page

Do you have an API?

Not yet, but we're open to creating one
