China's Batteries Are Now Cheap Enough to Power Huge Shifts

2024 is the beginning of the end of ice engines as it looks like battery and electric motor are cheaper then ice engines for most categories already in the largest car market China. Whoever created rules for banning of new ice cars after 2030 looks like was on point.

China will likely hit 50% electric cars sales in 2024. And with way prices are for solar, wind and batteries are falling in China they should be replacing a lot of ice vehicles passenger and commercial both. Oil consumption for vehicles should be peaking in a year or 2. I think the move of oil is coming a lot faster than people are expecting it to be.
