i'm not familiar with unify (could you have meant UniFi -- the Ubiquity series of hardware?) but i am familar with Umbrella -- if you meant the Cisco product.

Umbrella (when configured correctly) is quite comprehensive! i am surprised you're having so many end user-level issues if you have Umbrella to be honest!
