Looks like string theory is doing more for math than connecting quantum and classical physics over the last 35 years

If true, that's really great that it's contributing to math! I'd heard a lot of negative things about String theory in that it was a waste of time for everyone involved and resources used as well. Contribution to theoretical math is well worth it, in my opinion (I confess I might be biased).
