I created a Hacker News redesign

Unsure what the actual point of this is.

There are plenty of themes for HN available if one doesn’t like the barebones nature of the base site.

Since this does appear to be a total rebuild then does it not only support all the current features of HN, but what else does it do better ?

Right now it seems to fail at being mobile friendly which is a huge fail in this day and age.

I just see one news item there, and its points are just counting upwards without stopping. Is that expected? https://i.ibb.co/zntRgng/image.png

yes, its a redesign, that's all it is, a proof of concept, it isn't supposed to actually fetch data, I don't have access to the API

something is not working, I can see only one post.

I am quite interested in the project since I am working on a hackernews frontend myself: https://news.facts.dev/

I redesigned Hacker News' website, and I coded it too!

But it's not fetching the actual Hacker News data?

Appears like a desktop web page onto my mobile phone..
