Hi HN,

You can solve 300+ Leetcode problems and apply to hundreds of jobs online, but still fall short of landing a job at FAANG. Ultimately, it's the resume that gets your foot in the door.

To help with this, I've built a directory featuring the largest curated collection of successful FAANG resumes.

Our collection includes resumes from top-tier companies like Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Amazon. Each resume is parsed for easy filtering by company, years of experience, track (IC/Management), and domain (Backend, ML, Fullstack, and more).

Give it a try and please share any feedback!

Absolutely horrible. I never had a resume problem, and I've always landed interviews with big tech too. Still, I just bought it because I'm looking for a new job, and "Access Database of 250+ Big Tech Recruiters" was convenient versus manually browsing through tons of pages - It's nowhere to be found. The "profiles"? It's only 4.

And they offer no refund.

I wasted money so you don't have to lol

The 4 profiles are the ones one can preview on https://www.onsites.fyi/profiles ?

What about the (175) resumes this Show HN is about? Did you get access to all?

The 175 resumes database is instantly available once purchased.

The other features like LinkedIn/Resume review need personalization so we use an onboarding intake form.

Hey! This was because it seems that you never filled out the onboarding form after the purchase.

We sent you a manual email again with the onboarding form so we can personalize your experience. Once filled out, you will be given access to all the features.

We've helped many get into FAANG, so hope it works out for you too! :)

Obligatory relevant xkcd https://xkcd.com/1984/

well, isn't that embarrassing. sigh

Thanks for the correction, it seems like I can't edit my comment anymore to add an apology and an update, so I'll do it here.

I didn't see an onboarding form on the website, and the email came exactly 56 minutes later. I'll fill in the intake form to see how it goes. And I do apologize for my rushed comment.

As a suggestion (not an excuse for rushed judgment) maybe change the UX to make it easier to onboard?

Points for the xkcd too - hurt good and true lol

Appreciate it for following up, that means a lot! We're a small team trying to do honest work

> maybe change the UX to make it easier to onboard?

Good point, we're already on it.

From your original comment about not seeing the recruiters database, we made it easier for you so you can now access it all here: https://www.onsites.fyi/recruiters

Personally, I'd be ticked off if I found out people were taking resumes I had sent in for jobs, and using them for content on a service like this. You probably should have some information on there about how you went about getting permission to post all their contact info, etc.

Thanks for the note, we're going to have that info added.

Yeah either that, or if you don't have that permission, I'd suggest using some kind of obfuscation technique so you don't reveal PII.
